Tropical Retreat

This tropical retreat in La Jolla transforms a residential backyard into a private, verdant sanctuary. Designed to evoke the feeling of a permanent getaway, the project emphasizes lush, layered greenery and a seamless aesthetic that perfectly complements its coastal environment.

The design integrates high-impact tropical species, carefully supported by advanced irrigation systems to ensure long-term plant health and sustainability in the local climate. To extend the space's usability into the evening hours, we installed a custom landscape lighting package. These lights highlight the unique architectural textures of the foliage and create a warm, inviting ambiance for nighttime relaxation.
